Summary: Good watch but not for everyone!
Comment: Buy if:

1)Spend most of the time in an office. So you can enter data in palm desktop, sync and carry along...

2)Are patience when entering data on watch. Sometimes it is difficult to use the provided mini-stylus, I suggest buying one of those multi-functional pens(pen & stylus), it's more confortable.

3)Looking for a portable & basic PDA. Don't buy if you're looking for an all-in-one PDA.

4)Have a good pair of eyes, of course.

5)Want to call the attention. ;)

Summary: it works
Comment: just a few things to add to the previous reviews:
1)Not for people with bad vision; the text is, of course, very small.
2)battery life can be greatly extended by turning the screensaver to off instead of time. I run my watch this way and I play games for hours some days and only run the battery down to 75%.
3) I had trouble getting many applications to run on the watch, but found some games that worked great.
4) I have really enjoyed being able to enter dates, appointments, and tasks on my wristwatch. It is every bit as practical and convenient as I was hoping it would be.

Summary: Battery life kills the joy
Comment: This really is a pheonominal item with a list of capabilities that far exceeds most of it's drawbacks. Certain other aspects of this device take accomodations that are to be expected (text is fairly small for example). Overall it is a great item with one, significant drawback. The battery life is HORRIBLE. I veered away from ever using the backlight (this drains immensly on the battery) and it still lasted just a day and a half, at most, after a complete charge.

The difficulty this creates is that the watch looses all of it's saved info if the battery dies. That means that you either have to keep it alive by remembering to charge it nightly, or resync it every time you want to use it.

As an Apple user, I was rather excited at how well the software worked. I ran into no compatibility issues between the wrist PDA and my iBook.

The watch is also very heavy, which could be a drawback for most, and the screen can be unresponsive at times (or at least with my unit it was). After about a month of using it on a fairly regular basis to help organize my schedule and try to eliminate a few of the devices I have to carry... I decided to go back to my handheld Palm device for the reasons listed above.

It was a great idea, and probably essential to many busy professionals, but nightly charges, weight, and the threat of data-loss was too much for me to keep up with.

Summary: Only the most basic Palm functions...
Comment: This watch is a novel concept that suffers from some expected problems. It is virtually impossible to enter data on it. The screen (and type) is small and hard to read in lower light without using the backlight. The watch functions are basic: only time and date (no stop watch, timer, etc). The only other issue is the battery lasts about 24-36 hours (without the backlight on and with the beam-recieve off), so it must be charged nightly.
On the upside: it is pretty amazing to get 8MB of data on a watch and the price is dropping (it is a relative bargain for around $40).
Overall, this would have been great if it had come out about 3 years ago (when it was supposed to) but now it is outdated.

Summary: Neat little device
Comment: I got this for $50, here on Amazon and have found that it is a neat device. The palm version is older (4.1 I think some one said in another review). The stilis is very small and does not always work perfectly. It's large but an okay size for a man's wrist (although you will be a "geek god" if you show people what it does). Downloading a couple programs makes it run a lot faster and it would have been nice to have the time syncronize with windows. The battery life is about 14 hours if the PDA is not used but shorter depending how much the PDA is used. The watch face can be changed and different faces seem to allow different battery lifes but I don't think it matters that much.
A mini on screen keyboard appears sometimes and is much better then jot but I'm not sure how to make it appear.
