Summary: Really GOOD Sound for Cost & NOT 2-BaD-4 Smaller EARs!
Comment: I have been searching for a reasonable pair of earbuds that were either smaller than most or of squishier texture to wear when my Sennheisers are inconvenient (especially to go to sleep or when my hair is still damp after washing, cuz we all know what Headphone-Hair looks like!). I have tried several different brands & styles but all were too large/plastic to be comfortable in my smallish ears. I am critical of sound too, Bigtime! I ordered both a pair of these JVC gumy phones (black) figuring that the texture would be squishy & more comfy, & also a pair of the Koss Spark Plugs because they were both reasonable & had fairly good reviews. I actually thought that these would be more squishy & alittle smaller than they are, but if worn loosely, they are not Uncomfortable as most & the sound is GREAT, quite a bit better than any of my other buds that I've put up with over the years! The Spark Plugs have GREAT sound as well, but actually made me a bit naucious after wearing for about a half hour, even when worn loosly (?-maybe I had too many ear infections as a kid or something?)!
These gumies could be a bit more "gummy" & just a bit more petite for my ears, but for the price, I won't complain since the sound & volume is better than anticipated. Just FYI, only the ear pcs are black, the cord is white all the way up to them. Nice quality gold "L" plug too!

Summary: Great Product At a Great Price JVC Gummy Ear Bud Headphones
Comment: I recently had the unplanned opportunity this Christmas to compare the JVC Gummy earbud headphones against the Sony version and the Memorex version of this product. So the scientist in me and my 2 daughters tried all three on an ipod nano. It was amazing the difference between the products. The bass is considerably clearer on the JVC product. The volume is much louder ( so you don't have to raise the volume as high and subsequently also raising the hiss and other noise of the particular player you're using). The vocals and cymbals were equally crisp. All this for a mere $8.99 plus S&H online or $14.99 in Walmart. The only drawback that we could find is that the earbuds are inherently uncomfortable for some of us after about an hour as compared to the in-the-ear type. Overall a thumbs up for the JVC Gumy Earbud headphones. Cheers...Les

Comment: I had this for about 5 months and it works great.i like the color and shape because the cheap plastic ones fall out of my ears and the rubber on it is great and stays on. so they are a great pair of headphones.so i think you should buy it for the price.

Summary: Not as good as others for same price
Comment: I bought these at the same time as a pair of Sony MDR-E828LP and TDK BP100s. These JVCs are the worst of the 3, and they're all just under $10.
The Sony's are the best of the 3 from a sound quality point of view, and the TDK's sound is in between, and they happen to fit my ears the best.
