Summary: El Mejor sonido / The Best sound
Comment: Yo compre estos audifonos para usarlos cuando voy a ambientes de mucho ruido, Gim, aviones y aeropuertos. Lei en varios sitios como Cnet y Amazon que son fabulosos. Bueno, si lo son, el audio es sensacional con mi Ipod la respuesta de los Bajos es fenomenal y los agudos mejores. El truco es saber colocarselos en la oreja segun las instruciones anexas. Si los colocas mal no apreciaras su buen sonido. A mis amigos y mi Hermanos que los han usado dicen que se van a comprar unos de los bien que suenan.
Vale la pena lo que cuestan, si los comparas con otros de la competencia como los Shure y otras marcas mucho mas caras.

I bought these earphones to use them when I go to enviroment of much noise, Gim, airplanes and airports. I read in several sites like Cnet and Amazon that it are fabulous. Really, if they are it, the audio is sensational with my Ipod, the answer of the bass is phenomenal and tweater the best ones. The trick is to know like put in the ear according to instructions attached to packet. If you put them in bad you won't appreciate its good sound. My friends and my Brothers who have used it, they say that they will buy ones of. It is worth the price, if you compare it with others of the competition as the Shure and other brands much more expensive.

Summary: This is definitely the way to go!
Comment: These are outstanding earphones. The foam ear piece is exceptionally comfortable for a long plane ride. The sound is superb, you can actually hear the difference in the drums. The noise isolation is very good considering this type of earphone. I've had both Bose QC's, which I consider exceptional, but didn't like the profile. The more you travel the smaller you want things. I tried the Sony earphones but they hurt my ears. I don't have to have the best headphones for sound but I have to have the comfort and these will give you that.

Summary: Now able to listen to my iPod in the presence of noisy background at the gym
Comment: I was very satisfied with this item. I purchased the product mainly to decrease the loud background noise at the gym while listening to audiobooks on my iPod. It was usually impossible for me to listen to my iPod prior to purchase of these earphones even when turning up the volume very loud where I was sure I would be damaging my hearing. Now I can listen anytime at a pleasantly low volume level with room to spare and not be distracted by the conversations and noise around me. At first it was a little difficult to seat the earphones into my ear canals especially because my canals are quite small. I learned to pull my ear back and up while inserting the tip then release my ear once it was in place taking care not to push the tip against the wall of my canal. I also realized that it was not a good idea to try to insert the earphones while walking fast on the treadmill! The limitation I find is the flatness of the iPod earphone itself that makes the round ER6i phones harder to insert. I hope this helps.

These earbuds have exceptional clarity over the standard iPod and well as any of the Sony Fontopia earbuds. I have used the Sony MDR-EX71 earbuds for about a year and a half and was quite satisfied with them. However, the construction of the Sony cord (uneven L and R segments) became a hassle and the extension piece of wire added a lot of unnecessary weight.
The Etymotic earbuds are to the Sonys what the Sonys are to stock iPod earbuds; a world of difference. My music is no longer dominated by the signature Sony "Bass" and I am able to hear fine details that were previously muffled or drowned out. You will have a more pleasurable listening experience with these earbuds. They are very light and fit very snugly into the ear canal but properly installing them is very very important to their performance. Many people might find the earbuds need to be seated deeper than they expect. I have found (from working around large engines/turbines and previous earbuds) that pulling up on your ear as well as opening your jaw helps to seat the earbuds/earplugs better. The only concern I have is the cost of the filters and the frequency with which they will need to be replaced. Overall, I am very satisfied with these earbuds and recommend them to anyone looking for a more enjoyable listening experience.
p.s. Do not use these while expecting a phone call. Thanks to these earbuds I have missed numerous calls while listening to my iPod =P

Summary: These earbuds will change the way your listen to music!!!
Comment: After you get over the wierd feeling of shoving these down your ear cannals, the sound produced is unreal! I can now listen to my ipod on 1/3 to 1/2 volume level because there is no ambient noise to block out the music. I just used them on a plane for the first time and they were AMAZING!! No crying babies--one in the seat infront of me--or airplane noise to bother me. I highly recomend them--especially for the 90ish dollar range.
