Comment: Having just purchased a Weber Genesis Silver C grill, I wanted something to protect my (expensive!) investment. Like some other reviewers, I was somewhat skeptical about the $[...] price tag for a simple cover. But after just a few days of use, I can tell you that it's totally worth it. It fits _perfectly_. It's heavy duty enough that I no longer worry about my new toy sitting outside "naked". Plus, it stays put in heavy winds, even without the integrated velcro straps. All in all, I'm happy I purchased it, even at the high price, and would do it again. I'm sure my Weber will be lasting that much longer because of it.

Comment: I bought this grill for my Weber Genesis Platinum C grill. The grill cover description fails to mention that the cover also fits the Platinum B/C models. The fit is snug and the velcro straps will ensure that the cover will not blow off. The material is heavy duty unlike other less expensive generic grill covers. Yes, $55 is pricy, but I wanted something to protect a bigger investment which I plan to keep for many years.

If you answered HECK NO! to the above, then why cover your Weber in a generic grill cover from Wal-Mart? You know who you are. I used to be one of you as well, but I was fed-up with chasing my blown away covers across the neighbor's back yards and hated to see the flimsy plastic crumble in my hands after a brutal winter. OH NO, I wasn't going to take it anymore!
The Weber cover is a must have for Weber Gas Grill owners. It is weighty enough to withstand blowing off during gusty days even without the Velcro tightening straps secured. It is tough enough to stand up to Iowa winters (-40 degrees) and the humid summers with out cracking and stays pliable enough to slip it off and on easily! This may be the only other product to last as long as or potentially out-last the actual Weber Gas Grill.
I have had my cover for three years now (the first time ever a cover has lasted me that long) and can say it has been the best accessory purchase I have made for my Weber Gas Grill. VIVA LA WEBER GAS GRILL COVER !!!

Comment: Weber sells the best grill cover I have ever used and I have used covers for both gas gills and charcoal grills for better than 25 years. It stays flexible in the coldest weather and is completely water proof and strong. It has air vents to permit the grill to cool off after use. It is held in place by high quality velcro strips on each end which hold it securely. It is good looking and has the Weber logo on the front. I would recommend it to anybody using a Weber grill that wants a cover. It is a little more expensive that most other covers but I consider it worth the price.
