Summary: So worth it. No hype!
Comment: I used these to move a huge dresser (look at the Martson on Restoration's website to see how big this thing is) and they made what surely would have been a 20 minute ordeal getting this thing from the truck into the bedroom into a 3 minute joke. It might not make things lighter, but it does allow you to securely hold large and awkward items while moving. They take up so little room, it's a no-brainer.

Comment: I have used these many times, even with cast iron radiators weighing hundred of pounds.
What really makes these work, is they transfer the weight to your upper arm and biceps rather than your forearm and weak forearm muscles. What a difference. If you use regular straps, you have to grip them in your hand and it is the hand ard forearm doing all the work.

Comment: My first experience with the Forearm Forklifts was when I bought some new furniture and the delivery person showed up without help. I didn't think I would be strong enough to lift a couple of the pieces, but with the Forearm Forklifts taking all of the weight off of my fingers I found that my legs were more than capable.
I have now used my set in 5 different moves and every time someone else uses them for the first time, they are convinced to go out and buy their own. For $20 you can't go wrong!

Summary: Worth the $20 and then some!
Comment: First, Lets look at the design and why it works. The straps have 3 arm holes on each end. This design allows people of different heights to hold up their end without the awkward height difference. I am much shorter then my husband, but the straps fixed this.
When you slip the straps underneath the object, you are using the power of your legs instead of arms to lift. We bought these in March for our move, and are using these still to move furniture around.
Even for more then $20, its still a value. We certainly do not use it everyday, however they take up so little room to store, we can easily dig them out and use it.
Great for Bulky items that are hard to hold. Heavy items are still heavy, but better. It also alleviates someone carrying the "Heavy" end, as you can position the item so that it splits the weight between two.
The straps are also pretty heavy duty and do not seem worn. For the price, what do you have to lose?
