Summary: Impossibly Beautiful
Comment: Bocelli has one of those voices that stops you dead in your tracks. His range is stunning, his voice rich and lovely, the notes lingering in the air like honeysuckle. Truly, the man's voice is a rare gift. Not surprisingly, 'Amore' is the perfect reflection of Andrea's immense talent. All the tracks are wonderful but I think it's safe to say that 'Because We Believe' will be an instant classic. When Andrea holds those beautiful notes at the end of the song, the effect is breathtaking. His duets with a few other 'slightly famous' singers are outstanding but I particularly liked the duet with Christina Aguilera ('Somos Novios'). The instrumentals are lovely and complement Bocelli's singing flawlessly. I own all of Bocelli's albums but 'Amore' stands out above all the rest. An absolutely splendid release and a purchase you'll never regret making.

Comment: I've always enjoyed Andrea and this album is no exception, but while reading some of the customer recommendations posted on this site I discovered a group by the name of Mehdi (pronounced meddie). After an online search I found their site (SoothingMusic - Com) and listened to the samples...
I was instantly blown away by the quality of this music and so I gave it a try and now that I have listened to these CDs several times, I really must say that although I'm still a Bocelli fan, I find Mehdi to be a great addition to this CD. I have them both in my multi-disc CD player and love the way they compliment each other. I highly recommend that you give this artist a try or atleast just go listen to the samples, I have a feeling you'll be glad you did.

Summary: Amore' is a Great Album
Comment: I have to say first I don't speak any of the languages of this album but I know the English Version of all the songs in the Album.The song I was most impressed with was "It's Impossible"called Somos Novios in the Album.I was so impresed with this Duet of Andrea Bocelli and Christina Aguilera I couldn't stop replaying it over and over and am listening to it as I write this.My next favorite was Amapola it is a song that brings back many memories of my Dad singing the English version of this around the house when I was a little kid.It went Amapola my pretty little poppy your like a lovely flower so sweet so devine etc.But the whole Album is Great and I hope wins a Foreign Language Grammy and Somos Novios a Latin Grammy for Best song in a Duet.

Comment: Once in a while a voice comes along like Andrea Bocelli's. I am so glad I was around to hear it. He only gets better. He was born to sing. I truly didn't believe he COULD get better,but he did. This album is proof of that. Andrea Bocelli has the voice of an angel. He has a tenderness in his voice that can't be compared. No matter what language he sings in,he sings lkie an angel.He leaves you wanting more. I can only wait now for his next album.

Summary: The music of love (Amore)
Comment: I think Celine Dion got it right when she said "if god had a singing voice he's sound like Andrea Bocelli". This man has got to have the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. I could just listen to him for hours, for he has the most soothing, relaxing yet powerful voice I've ever heard. With his latest album he has taken classic love songs from all cultures and has sung them with so much warm and passion that it's almost as if they came from his heart and not someone else's song book. The album opens with the beautiful yet subtle 'Amapola'...(Is it just me or is Italian just the most beautiful language) There are a few Latin American songs, my favorite being track number 2 'Besame Mucho', but his duet with Christina Aguilera is one of the most impressive tracks here (Britney Spears couldn't even dream of singing with such a talented singer...but she has K-Fed) Christina was a prime choice to cut a track with for her sultry PERFECT voice is like silk to his satin...they just harmonize perfectly. His take on the French classic 'Les Feuilles Mortes' is astounding and goes to show that the language is second only to Italian (sorry I have a soft spot for the language of my ancestors). 'Jurame' is a stand out gem here featuring guitar work by Mario Reyes. The whole song is breathtaking. I say if you want to know why Andrea Bocelli is brilliant then you need hear track 12 'Can't Help Falling in Love' for he's not only singing in English but he's singing live and he sounds flawless...so you can see that the hype is not that he's singing in Italian and the language is beautiful itself, but his voice whether singing Italian, French, Spanish or even English is FLAWLESS! And live on top of that, I mean, on that track he sounds CD quality. Both versions of 'Because we Believe', the English but especially the Italian are the biggest highlights here. Amazing album put out by probably the best male vocalist in the world at this point and time. I can't help but smile when listening to this brilliant and BREATHTAKING album, and I promise that you too will be left spellbound.

Almost ten years ago he exploded onto the international music scene with Romanza, and has since sold nearly 50 million albums worldwide. Amore--released amongst the glamor of the Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy (where he will perform at the closing ceremony) and the romance of Valentine's Day--finds Bocelli straying from the carefully groomed classical ground in which he is most familiar. The concept of the album came from famed producer and longtime Bocelli fan David Foster along with co-producers Humberto Gatica and Tony Renis, who posed the question: Why not take the most beautiful love songs in the world and pair them with the most romantic voice in the world? The result is a beautiful album of pop standards that Foster has publicly claimed is "one of the most beautiful records I have ever been part of."

Embarking on a new era, Amore unveils a fresh sensuous sound that gently moves Bocelli into new territory. Spanish guitars flourish, traditional Latin percussion seductively keeps the tempo, accordions and harmonicas provide charming melodies, while sometimes Bocelli shares the spotlight with just a grand piano.
